Creamer Creamer, 1830–1832

This is a creamer. It was made by Samuel Kirk & Son. It is dated 1830–1832 and we acquired it in 1976. Its medium is silver. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.

It has the following markings

On the underside of creamer: [1] “K”, “I”, “R”, impressed (maker’s mark) [2] Maryland shield in an oval and a tower in an oval, impressed (assayer’s marks, Samuel Steele [assayer], Baltimore; 1830–32)
