Snuffbox Mounted With Two Miniatures (France)
This is a Snuffbox mounted with two miniatures. It is dated 1768–75 and we acquired it in 1967. Its medium is mother-of-pearl, chased gold, inlaid lacquered tortoiseshell, hand-painted watercolor on ivory, glass. It is a part of the Product Design and Decorative Arts department.
