Shawl Fragment (India)

This is a Shawl fragment. It is dated ca. 1840 and we acquired it in 1954. Its medium is wool and its technique is twill weave with embroidery. It is a part of the Textiles department.

This object was donated by Mrs. Evsei Beloussoff. It is credited Gift of Mrs. Evsie Beloussoff.
